Meaghan Thomas, an award-winning broadcast meteorologist, discusses her book, “Heart of Hearing” with me. Thomas wears bi-lateral hearing aids and is an advocate for the hard of hearing, deaf, and Deaf communities. Her nonprofit organization, The Heart of Hearing, Inc. raises funds for those who cannot afford hearing aids.
